The new Tools and Ores mod gives you new ores such as copper, Tungsten, and platinum, as well as new gems like Alexandrite, Ruby, Sapphire, and Rose Quartz.
NOTE: If you use a vanilla pickaxe (stone, iron, diamond, etc), place it in the crafting table to get a pickaxe+.
Why? Minecraft does not allow mods to create new minerals, so this is a workaround. The pickaxes are exactly the same, except now you can mine the new ores quickly.
Elemental Armor
Elemental Armor can be found by mining white diamond, creating white diamond armor, and adding the corresponding elemental gem.
Ocean armor is created by adding an ocean gem, which is found in treasure chests. It has resistance + conduit power, as well as the stats of netherite.
Infernal armor is created by adding an infernal gem to white diamond armor, which is found in nether fortress chests. It has fire resistance and resistance.
Desert armor is created by adding a desert gem, which is found in desert temples. It has speed and resistance boosts.
End Armor is created with the end gem, found in end cities. It gives slow falling and resistance. Unlike the other elemental armor only a single piece is needed for the boost.
Nonelemental Armor
Pyrite is crafted by adding tungsten ingots to gold armor.
Rose Gold is crafted with copper, gold, and iron, and it is slightly stronger than diamond.
Also, emerald can now be used to make equipment, and is about as good as iron.
Steel is as good as iron, but has the durability of Netherite. Steel rods are also used for the higher tiered weapons and equipment, such as Alexandrite and Infernal.
Weapons
The Wither Sword can be made by getting wither fragments, from killing the Wither boss.
The Infernal Sword can be made by adding an infernal gem to the Wither Sword.
Healing Gem
An uncharged gem is found in end cities. Using platinum and topaz in the crafting table will recharge the gem, which gives regeneration for 15 seconds.
Alexandrite – The new strongest nonelemental armor. Unbuffed (no resistance, special effect) Alexandrite beats every other material in durability and power. Alexandrite can be found in end city chests.
Other gemstone armor include ruby, sapphire, and emerald.
